Los Chamos Arepas

We sat at the outdoor counter, which is under a roof, so you get a break from the direct sun. Tried two different arepas our first time there. One was beef, can't recall the other. We both really like the beef. Went back a 2nd time from another beef arepa and a beef cachapa, which was also delicious. If you like this kind of Venezuelan food, it is worth a visit.

I try to stop here every time I come to the island. The food is always great and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! The music is always playing, and the vibes are good. Luckily, I've always found parking when pulling straight in, but if you are within walking distance, I highly suggest walking.

Highly impressed with this meal! I got the chicken and Venezuelan cheese arepa added avocado. And OMG!! pure goodness. I also got a slice of key lime pie to satisfy my sweet toothe, fantastic. Will definitely treat myself to this goodness again!! If they can do something about the excessive birds, I'll definitely eat on premises, but if not, I will order to-go.

I tried the Pabellón chicken arepa and it was so delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone!

Food was fantastic authentic Venezuelan, very generous portions, and best Piña Colada of all I tried in Puerto Rico.

oh my god these arepas were phenomenal. so so good. tacos were pretty good as well, and the desert was light and sweet. the collection of sauces to pick from here is awesome, definately gonna be thinking about this place when im back home

Very yummy arepa!! Best food we had on vacation. I got the steak and cheese and added avocado for only $1 extra and I got so much avocado! Crispy arepa and very hot. Only thing is, we waited awhile for one food item and there isn’t a lot of seating.

Food tasted okay…it took about 45min to come out and wasn’t very warm. Not really any seating and really bad parking situation so it’s better to walk and be prepared to wait. I liked the diverse hot sauce selection it was a unique feature, very cool to try some new ones.

This place is open 24/7 on the main strip of our Airbnb so it was easy to get to. It's small, so not many places to sit just 1 bench type thing but we go ours to go. We got the beef arepas. They were good however they are not as good as ones we have had else where in San Juan! (The ones at Chamitas under the Blue Shark are to die for.) But...their cake here... (I believe it wss the tres leches cake) It was SO good. I stopped back by another night and got another piece, and one of their cheesecake cups with fruit too. Loved them both. I am not usually a cake person (cheesecake for me!) but this cake was something special. Lol.
